WEST OF Ireland singer-songwriter, Faraway Martin, has released his new single, 'The Lights Turn On', a ballad following a couple's "journey through life, from love at first sight to bitter end".
The song is the first single from Martin's eponymous debut EP, which is due out in September. It was produced by Dave Skelton and mastered by Aidan Foley (U2, Foo Fighters, Damien Rice ). The song has already earned praise from 2FM's Dan Hegarty, who called it "stunning".
Martin has supported Boyce Avenue, Hermitage Green, Mick Flannery and Aslan. Hex made his debut appearance at Electric Picnic last year.
