GOING GREEN, the latest exhibition from members of the Kinvara Area Visual Arts group will be going online this weekend.
Originally, the exhibition was to have been held in the Merriman Hotel, but the Covid-19 lockdown has required it to move to www.kava.ie It opens this Saturday and runs until Saturday May 2.
The theme of Going Green will cover green living, the green of spring, or just a celebration of the colour itself. “It certainly feels like a celebratory colour now,” said Terri Kelleher of KAVA, “as we can appreciate the outdoors and all its lovely green-ness at a time when we are all under quarantine orders!”
There will be daily artworks spotlighted on social media, while full albums of the exhibition will be available on the KAVA website and Facebook page for those who want to look through at their own pace and not wait for the spotlight posts.
