Galway health care workers who are at the front lines of protecting Galway city and county from the Covid 19 virus are subject to restricting themselves in how they travel, they cannot take taxis, busses or any other shared public transport due to the risk of sharing or catching the disease. The next four weeks in Galway are due to be the peak operational times for the crisis. Brite Mobility are now providing free electric bikes and scooters to these Galway workers. This will enable these workers get to their shifts quickly, on time, hassle-free.
Brite, a small Galway start up who launched Ireland’s first shared electric micro mobility service in Galway charge €150 per month for an ebikeand €80 per month for a scooter. This covers the cost of staff, servicing, maintenance, vans and redistribution. Brite need to raise this money to help them provide this service. UnfortunatleyBrite cannot provide this service for an extended period without help! Any additional funds raised will go towards providing the free service into the coming months.
Brite already has had enquiries from Galway and hope to have some nurses and doctors on their bikes by today.
We have thirty ebikes and twenty electric scooters available straight away and want to expand this.
Please help us provide this essential transport service to hundreds of Galway's health care workers who have difficulty getting to work due to time and cost.
