ConTempo concerts postponed, but the music does not stop

Quartet is looking at ways of using social media to provide music to the public

CONTEMPO HAS cancelled its concerts for April and is planning to postpone shows planned for May, owing to the continuing restrictions needed to combat the coronavirus.

However, ConTempo and the Galway Music Residency, are exploring alternative ways to perform for the public, while observing the social distancing requirements.

"We want to stay in touch with our community of music lovers," the Galway Music Residency said in a statement. "We still want you to be able to 'Listen, learn and love music' which is our mission. We plan to connect you with ConTempo in other ways. Watch out for further news on Facebook and email, where we will link you to some of ConTempo's favourite concerts on video, with personal introductions from members of the quartet."
