"I am in the south of Germany on the Swiss/French border. It is crazy times here. We are only allowed out in twos and there are strict controls everywhere. I have been let off work temporarily so I planted the garden and have started getting the wardrobes sorted.
"I have applied for jobs in the agricultural branch. We have asparagus and strawberry season starting real soon and [farmers] cannot get their seasonal workers from eastern Europe over so they are all looking for helpers. My children are at home doing their school work and coping really well. They are baking and doing stuff they would never really do."
