BIRGIT LOCHMANN is originally from Duesseldorf, bur has lived in Ireland since the early 1980s. Since retiring from being a dental ceramist, she is now focused entirely on painting.
Birgit's work has developed from photo realistic images to highly abstract paintings. Her appreciation of light, shade, and colour breathes life into her realistic subjects, but can also be seen informing the brush strokes of her more abstract work.
The exhibition runs until April 6.
