So the superlatives are starting to run out for Liverpool as they reach the 70 point mark before the end of January. Their 23rd win out of 24 matches was racked up thanks to a 2-0 away success at West Ham. The massive 19 point advantage they have over their rivals leads me to say, this title race is over.
The final whistle at the London Stadium also brought the conclusion of January which means it is time to the name the Advertiser Tribal League's Manager of the Month in association with Monroe's Tavern.

January is considered the longest month of the season thanks to many of us lacking the resources after a busy Christmas and New Year as well as the weather just being miserable. However, in the Premier League it is one of the least busy with only four game weeks taking place during the first month of 2020. And the manager who negotiated the period the best was Iarla Burke who led his charges Walk In The Ji-Sung to an impressive 307 points. Burke's style of tinkering with his squad saw him rack up a massive score including a 92 showing during game week 22. Despite his switching, there were untouchables in the first 11 who really brought home the bacon; Trent Alexander-Arnold (34 ), Andrew Robertson (31 ), and Sergio Agüero (70 ).

With three goals in four games, Chris Wood has enabled Burnley to create a seven point buffer between themselves and the drop zone. Victories over high flying Leicester and a first away victory at Old Trafford in 58 years over Man United sees The Clarets go into their clash with Arsenal in high spirits. The Gunners' form has solidified under Mikel Arteta having not lost for four consecutive league outings. However, Arsenal's defence is still porous with no clean sheet in six matches and only four for the season so far. I can see Burnley roughing up the north Londoners at Turf Moor so I am going with a home win and Wood to exploit the visitors' defensive frailties.
Harvey Barnes (Leicester City - £5.9 million ) v Chelsea
When you think of The Foxes' star names this season, Harvey Barnes probably would not be one that comes to mind straight away. However with Leicester slightly wobbling - four wins in eight league matches - Barnes has impressed, bagging himself two goals and an assist in the last two matches. On Saturday lunchtime Leicester welcome Chelsea in a match that could go a long way in determining who is playing in the Champions League next season. The visitors have had a Jekyll and Hyde season with some wonderful attacking football followed by some of the most impotent displays. No one knows what Chelsea side will turn up, which makes the contest at the King Power Stadium all the more fascinating. With an awful defensive record, I can't see Chelsea's forward line bailing them out again. Home win for Leicester and Barnes to continue his good scoring form.
Raúl Jiménez (Wolves - £7.6 million ) v Man United
The Mexican looks back to his free flowing best with three goals in his last two matches against Southampton and Liverpool. Raúl Jiménez has a massive influence on this Wolves side; if he plays will, Wolves play well. On Saturday evening, the Black Country outfit travel to Manchester to take on the struggling Red Devils. Ole Gunnar Solksjær's men have lost three of their last four league games so a win would be very much welcomed by the Old Trafford faithful. I believe it will be a draw with Jiménez getting his name on the scoresheet.
