THE MAN In The Woman's Shoes and I Hear You and Rejoice, Mikel Murfi's highly acclaimed one man shows, return to the Town Hall Theatre for what may be the final time.
The Man In The Woman’s Shoes (Wednesday February 5 ), described as "a miniature masterpiece” by The Times is set in 1978 and centres on Pat Farron who has 'some business' to do in town. The play won the Stewart Parker/BBC Northern Ireland Radio Drama Award 2013 and the Writers Guild of Ireland (Zebby ) Award 2014 for Best Theatre Script. The Sunday Times described it as an "extraordinary physical performance…sharp observational comedy”.
I Hear You And Rejoice (Thursday February 6 ) finds Pat married to Kitsy Rainey, an unlikely match made in heaven. It has enjoyed critical acclaim at previous outings in Ireland and London. Time Out called it a "masterclass in the art of the monologue". Both shows are written and performed by Mikel Murfi.
