The Henry Girls in Kinvara

They've played Galway many times, but this weekend they make their Kinvara debut

THE HENRY Girls have played Galway many times, but this weekend sees the Donegal folk/trad trio of sisters make their debut in Kinvara with a gig in the village community centre.

The Henry Girls play the centre's gig room this Saturday at 8.30pm. They have won much acclaim for the passion, insight, and warmth, they bring to their singing, lyric writing, and musicianship.

The Sunday Times described the sisters 2017 album, Far Beyond The Stars, as "astonishing", while The Evening Herald said, "the quality of their harmony singing goes beyond mere technique. They possess an unerring ability to blend tone and resonance in a seamless fashion."

Admission is €15/13. Tickets are available via www.kinvaramusic.com
