FOLLOWING THE release of his latest album, Magic Nights, the great Christy Moore has announced his return to Galway next year, with a concert in Leisureland, Salthill, on Friday August 14.
Magic Nights, the follow up album to the multi-platinum No 1 album, On The Road, is a double album of 26 songs drawn from across 50 years worth of studio and in-concert recordings from Derry, Dublin, Birmingham, Belfast, Liverpool, and Lisdoonvarna.
"It’s 50 years this year since I released my first album," Christy said. "I have deep gratitude for the mystery of it all. At work I'm surrounded by a great team of comrades. Their talents and vital contributions keep the show on the road. Each night we stand side stage, breathe in the air of expectancy, the intoxicating waft of perfume and aftershave.
