THE ACCLAIMED poets Elaine Feeney and Sean Borodale will be in conversation in Ballinasloe for a special event, organised by Saolta Arts, discussing the arts and artist residencies.
The event takes place in Gullane's Hotel, Main Street, Ballinasloe, on Thursday January 23 at 7pm. London born Sean Borodale was the writer in residence at Portiuncula University Hospital. He will discuss the value of residencies in non-arts spaces; his proposal, 'A Theatre for the Landscapes of Solace, methodologies and considerations for engaging the acute hospital community'; and read from works in progress.
