THE POET Moya Cannon will launch her latest collection of poems, Donegal Tarantella, in Charlie Byrne’s Bookshop, Middle Street, this evening [Thursday November 21] at 6.30pm.
This book, published by Carcanet, is Moya's sixth collection, and features lyric poems on history, archaeology, geology, and the deep need to find expression in music and song. The collection will be launched by the poet Eva Bourke. There will also be music from Kathleen Loughnane and Cormac Cannon. All are welcome.
