Jogging return to Galway...with a new album

Post-hardcore trio to play Róisín Dubh this weekend

LAST FRIDAY, Jogging released Whole Heart, their first new album in seven years, the long-awaited follow-up to 2012's the much-acclaimed Take Courage. This weekend, they play Galway.

The Dublin post-hardcore trio will play the upstairs bar of the Róisín Dubh this Saturday at 8.30pm, where they will perform songs from Whole Heart, which is out now via various digital platforms, and limited edition vinyl, through the respected Irish indie label, Out On A Limb Records.

Whole Heart was recorded with producers Ian Chestnutt and John 'Spud' Murphy (Lankum, Katie Kim ) in Dublin's Guerrilla Sound Studios. The Thin Air said, "We’re struggling to recall [an album] that we’ve loved so much, and so quickly, as Whole Heart...it’s an emphatic (and rather heavier ) ten-track return." The band, whose music has been compared to Fugazi and Faraquet, have shared the stage with Wire, NoMeansNo, The Gaslight Anthem, and And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead.

Support is from Nerves and Ornith. Admission is €7. See www.roisindubh.net
