Slyrydes new single out tomorrow

Galway band's fourth release finds them tackling ignorance and bigotry head on

'DANGEROUS ANIMALS', the new single from Slyrydes, finds the Galway band tackling ignorance, bigotry, and a world where threatening forces are on the rise.

'Dangerous Animals', the band's fourth single, is out tomorrow [Friday October 25] via various streaming platforms. It was recorded by Daniel Doherty (Fontaines DC, Vulpynes, Galants ) in Darklands Audio, Dublin.

"This song is more about why we feel the way we feel," explains band guitarist Eoin 'Fuz' Reily. "The world is in bits. Not that everything is usually perfect, but, at this moment in time there is so much wrong. Also we touch on the subject of ignorance and bigotry. In a world where thankfully so much is moving forward there are still aspects of the general consciousness that need to be weeded out."

A video for the song is on the way. Slyrydes next Galway gig is with Vulpynes, Foxjaw, and Bannered Mare on November 23 in The Loft at Seven, Bridge Street.
