Aslan announce Galway concert for next year

Much loved Dublin band to play Ballinasloe next February and Galway city in April

ASLAN, ONE of Ireland's best loved rock bands, bring their Goodbye Charlie Moonhead tour - marking the 25th anniversary of the release of the album of the same title - to Galway next year.

The Dublin group will play two shows in County Galway in 2020 - the Shearwater Hotel, Ballinasloe, Saturday February 22 and the Black Box Theatre, Galway city, on Saturday April 25.

Goodbye Charlie Moonhead was released in 1994 and contained a number of songs that have gone on to become firm favourites with audiences - 'Rainman', 'Where's The Sun', 'Games', 'Sweet Time', and the title track. It also contains one of Aslan's finest achievements - the mighty 'Crazy World'.

Along with songs from Goodbye Charlie Moonhead, Aslan will also perform songs from across their long career, including, according to the band, "songs that have not been performed live in a very long time".

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster for both shows. For the Black Box contact the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ) and for Ballinasloe see www.shearwaterhotel.com or call 090 - 9630400.
