Caroline here from Lanidor. Originally from Milltown, I travelled and worked in London and New York for 8 years before returning to my home county and favourite city in the world, Galway. I've always loved fashion and beauty and qualified as a professional make-up artist in New York. However, my passion for fashion never dissipated and on a holiday to Portugal in 2016, I discovered the Lanidor brand. I loved the vibrant colours, the stunning prints and excellent quality of the range. When I returned home, I did some research to see if it was already available in Ireland. It was not, and so began a hugely exciting journey that led to my opening the first Lanidor shop in Ireland at 30 Eyre Street, Galway in October 2017. Two years on, I am enjoying every moment of living and working in Galway City. The vibrant, friendly, welcoming atmosphere is tangible on every street in this great city. Meeting and chatting with customers every day and sending them away, happy with their purchases, gives me great satisfaction and fulfilment. Wherever I travel to in the world, my heart always leads me back to my beautiful Galway.
