Stephen Ryan returns to the Comedy KARLnival

The man Chortle says has a 'mesmerising aura' plays the Róisín Dubh

STEPHEN RYAN, a winner of the Forbidden Fruit Comedy Competition and a finalist in the 2016 Irish Comedian of the Year competition, returns to Galway to play the Comedy KARLnival.

Ryan headlines the Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday October 15 at 8pm. From Limerick, Ryan is a comedian, actor, writer, and was a two-time finalist in the prestigious Chortle Student Comedy Competition. He has played the Edinburgh, and Latitude festivals, as well as TedFest, and the Vodafone Comedy Carnival. Chortle.co.uk praised his "charming way with words, elegantly tricksy wordplay...mesmerising aura”.

Also on the bill are Headford's Amy Walsh, a Show Me The Funny finalist, and Dominic Goland, who has performed at the Dublin Fringe and Frayed festivals. The MC is Karl Spain.

Tickets are €6 in advance from Róisín Dubh; www.roisindubh.net; or OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €8 at the door.
