THE WAR Against Cynicism: A Workshop for Blocked Writers, hosted by Dara Ó Foghlu, takes place in Galway next month.
The classes take place in the Black Gate Cultural Centre, St Francis Street, on Monday from 7pm to 9pm, from October 7 to December 16 (excluding October 11 ). The course deals with how to approach the blank page, style and story structure, writer's block, and 'comedy as an antidote to cynicism'. Ó Foghlu has more than 10 years' experience in writing, editing, and publishing.
