Sculpture Only @ Norman Villa Gallery
The exhibition, which opens at the Norman Villa Gallery, Salthill, tomorrow at 6pm, will present contemporary sculpture from Emer Byrne, Leo Higgins, Peter Killeen, Anna Linnane, and Mike Wilkins. These works in bronze and stone are mostly small scale. It runs until May 2.
Stephen Farnan @ MISE
An exhibition from the innovative Irish potter Stephen Farnan will open in the MISE art space and design boutique in Barna, tomorrow at 7pm. Stephen’s quirky, energetic pieces are much loved for their timeless simplicity and comforting nostalgic quality. The exhibition runs until May 17.
Adrian Kennedy @ Galway City Library
Fadó - Beyond The Blackthorn, a new exhibition of acrylic paintings inspired by Irish mythology, by Galway based artist Adrian Kennedy, will open in the Galway City Library on Monday and run until Friday May 1.
Jim Clancy @ Town Hall
Border County by Jim Clancy will run in the Town Hall Bar from Tuesday April 21 to Sunday 26. This show is a series of haunting monochrome images reflecting an in-between state. Jim has won awards for his TV scripts and his short films have been screened at the Galway and Cork Film Festivals.
