PHOTOJOURNALISM - The History Of The Gun and The Camera is the title of a public talk which will take place next week.
The talk, organised by Meetforeal, takes place on Saturday April 18 at 7.30pm in Bar No 8. The talk will be given by the Limerick based photographer and designer Dave Gilligan. He will look at major names in photojournalism, the equipment they use, and why they cover the kind of events (often violent ) that they do. It will be followed by an interactive discussion on photography.
