Disconnect 4 and Lost Chord to play IMRO Showcase

DISCONNECT 4 and Lost Chord are just two of the five acts that will be taking to the stage of the Róisín Dubh on Saturday at 8pm for 2009 IMRO Showcase Tour.

Disconnect 4 are one of the most promising bands to come out of Galway in years. Not only has their New Wave inspired synth-rock been impressing Galway audiences but BBC Radio’s Steve LeMaq recently got the band to record a session for him and BBC Radio Scotland has been playing their song ‘The Rise’. An EP is due for release in the coming weeks.

Lost Chord (formerly In Search Of The Lost Chord ) is a trio led by vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and entertainer Dave Phelan. Combining indie, Krautrock, dance, and rock influences, Dave assembles music that is both for the feet and the head. Expect plenty of gadgets and visuals as well.

Also playing on the night are Tuam Indie rockers The Ralphs, Loughrea singer-songwriter Ultan Conlan, and Black Soul Strangers.

Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and Zhivago.
