Danielle Holian launches debut poetry collection

Collection explores sexuality, sexual assault, heartbreak, feminism, and learning how to survive

BEAUTIFULLY CHAOTIC, the debut poetry collection from Galway writer Danielle Holian, which explores sexuality, the trauma of sexual assault, heartbreak, feminism, and learning how to survive, has just been published.

The book is split into four chapters - 'Destruction', 'Purpose', 'Mourning', and 'Healing', and traces a progression from isolation to survival, through empowerment, love, and truth. “Writing this collection was a journey I knew I needed to adventure on," said Danielle. "From being in a dark place to find light again. I discuss some heavy topics that are close to my heart that I hope will open conversations for the ones that were once me.”

Danielle Holian is a poet, journalist, and photographer. She studied digital media, journalism, and marketing in college and has since worked as music critic and interviewer. For more see Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
