1990s Galway legends are back in Campbellā€™s Tavern and Seven

JUDAS DIARY, one of the great Galway, indeed Irish, bands of the 1990s reform for two shows this month, and featuring the original members who promise "a night of brass and percussion bombast".

Originating from the early nineties Galway college band scene, Judas Diary won notice for their unique mix of pop, funk, and folk, and for their live shows, which featured up to 14 members on stage a night. The band were a staple of the original Róisín Dubh and played many Galway Arts Festival gigs. After four independent EPs and three successful European tours, the band called it a day to pursue other ventures.

Judas Diary play Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, on Friday September 13 (Tickets via www.eventbrite.ie ) and The Loft at Seven, Bridge Street, on Saturday September 14, with support from DJ Kearney (tickets via sevenbridgestreet.ie ). The band will be joined by various guests and friends.
