Galway Choral Association seeks new singers

Choir set to perform Haydn's 'Nelson Mass' in 2020 and Brahms's Requiem in 2021

ANYONE WHO loves singing and who "wants a challenge" is being encouraged to audition for the Galway Choral Association, which is currently seeking new members.

The association is a mixed-voice community choir, which is working towards a performance of Haydn's 'Nelson Mass' in 2020; a participation in a city-wide choral event later in the year; and a performance, with an orchestra, of Brahms's Requiem in 2021.

The choir welcomes enquires from new singers, former members, and people who want to return to choral singing. Rehearsals are on Sundays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in St Patrick’s Band Hall, from September to June. New members are accepted in September and February. Prospective members may attend the first three rehearsals in September.
