Partland releases 'Hope To Love Again' single

A song about love breaking down and the acceptance of growing older

'HOPE TO Love Again' is the new single from Galway singer-songwriter Partland, one that draws on Glen Hansard's raw, intense, emotion, and Adele-like heartbreak.

Partland (aka Thomas McPartland ) launched the single at a sold-out show at the Róisín Dubh this month. "The song is about getting older and after the breakdown of a relationship," he told the Galway Advertiser, "the worry that maybe you won't ever truly find love. It is also about trying to find comfort and acceptance in getting older. In writing it, I wanted it to come out like a bittersweet and powerful ballad that gets bigger as the song goes on."

The single is also available via all streaming sites. Partland has played in Canada, Germany, France, Britain, and Ireland, supporting Damien Dempsey, HamsandwicH, Picturehouse, and Heathers. See Facebook.com/partlandsongs and Instagram.com/partlandmusic
