East Galway first for CLÁR responders groups to get funding

Eyrecourt and District Cardiac First Responders Group and Killascobe Community Defibrillator Group are set to benefit through funding from the Department of Rural and Community Development.

Eyrecourt and District Cardiac First Responders Group will receive €2,411 and Killascobe Community Defibrillator Group will receive €5,202. The funding is being issued under Measure 3a of the CLÁR programme, which is aimed at funding equipment and services for first responder groups.

The funding has been welcomed by Galway East TD and Minister for Rural Affairs Seán Canney. "I am delighted these groups will be receiving funding," he said. "These measures make a significant difference to people living in CLÁR areas."
