July 17th - The Henry Girls
The Henry Girls need little introduction having enchanted audiences for many years with their
folk harmonies.
They’ve crafted a tribute show to The Boswell Sisters, who were the first sister jazz trio and a
major influence on many including Ella Fitzgerald. This show will see them joined on stage by a
seven–piece band for an unmissable Festival appearance.

July 18th - Thanks Brother
John Broe and Róisín O are both successful artists in their own right. Broe was the writer and
performer with Miracle Bell and Róisín O carved out her own successful solo career. Thanks
Brother released their single ‘We Caught It’ in January, a slice of anthemic pop, describing
magic moments of lost inhibitions. It is the first of four single releases this year culminating in an
EP for release in winter.
This is a show not to be missed.

July 19th - Ciaran Tourish and Kevin Doherty
Ciaran Tourish and Kevin Doherty have recently released their debut duo record Hotel Fiesta,
which showcases the great songwriting and singing of Kevin accompanied by Ciaran on fiddle
and whistles.
Ciaran and Kevin have spent the last few decades touring the world with their respective bands,
Four Men and a Dog and Altan. With special guests Dermot Byrne and James Delaney.

July 21st - Peggy Seeger in Ireland
Peggy Seeger - singer, songwriter, feminist, icon, muse - is the undisputed queen of folk and
political song. Although in her 80s, her performances, charisma and wit remain undiminished.
Join Peggy and her son, Calum MacColl (a superb musician in his own right ), for a truly
memorable evening.

July 22nd - Sharon Shannon, Mary Coughlan and Frances Black
These fantastic artists need no introduction. Sharon Shannon, Mary Coughlan and Frances
Black join forces for a unique show featuring their collective talents.
They previously shared a stage together for the popular A Woman’s Heart albums and tours.
These three powerhouses will each perform their own set of greatest hits, building to an

July 23rd - Garadice
Eleanor Shanley, Dave Sheridan, Padraig McGovern and John McCartin are Garadice.
Their combined creative prowess saw the quartet release their debut self–titled album this year.

July 24th - Patrick McCabe & Jack Lukeman
Writer Patrick McCabe is known for his mostly dark and violent novels. He was shortlisted for
the Booker Prize for ‘The Butcher Boy’ and ‘Breakfast on Pluto’. This collaboration with Jack
Lukeman might best be described as old–style village hall vaudeville for the future. Lukeman
and McCabe are friends and long–time collaborators, having toured the UK, the USA and
Ireland in the 1990s. Now they are back with a wailing harmonica, for a show not to be missed.

July 25th - Lisa Lambe, NoCrows, Martin Tourish & Mark Geary
Described by The Irish Times as the ‘finest singer and actor of her generation’, Lisa Lambe
takes to the Monroe;’s stage to perform with a stellar band of Troubadours: No Crows and
Martin Tourish for an evening of folk, folk–symphony and song with very special guest
singer/songwriter Mark Geary.

July 26th - KILA
Kíla bring their funky brand of hip–shaking, smile–making groovy trad to Monroe’s Live.
2018 marked an incredible 30 years together for the band and over that timespan their unique
