Mazars announces partnership with Druid

Under the partnership, Mazars will support Druid across principal productions Epiphany and The Beacon

MAZARS IRELAND has announced it will become Druid Theatre Company’s leadership partner and support its programme of activities, with an initial focus on its 2019 programme.

Under the partnership, Mazars will support Druid across its principal productions Epiphany by Brian Watkins - which runs at the Town Hall Theatre daily (bar July 21 ) up to and including July 27 at 8pm as part of the Galway International Arts Festival - and Nancy Harris' The Beacon, which comes to the Town Hall Theatre from September 20 to 28, as well as supporting other creative activities in 2019.

Druid artistic director Garry Hynes said she was "delighted" with Mazars becoming a leadership partner. “We are excited about the possibilities this partnership can provide," she said, "not just from the perspective of how Mazars’ support can help us grow as an organisation, but also as part of the conversation about the importance of creativity in the growth of our society and its role in business."

Mark Kennedy, managing partner Mazars, said: “We are delighted to partner with Druid, an internationally acclaimed organisation that is committed to excellence in its field. Working in an increasingly digital and regulated environment, this partnership is a new departure for us as an organisation. We are eager to work with Druid as there are many synergies between us. We look forward to learning from the unique approach that Druid apply to their craft.”
