Field Trip headline Citóg Records launch

Field Trip, Dylan Murphy, and The Curly Organ to play launch night at the Róisín Dubh

SOME OF the cream of Galway's indie rock bands, singer-songwriters, and solo artists will take to the stage of the Róisín Dubh for the launch of the fourth compilation album from Galway label Citóg Records.

Citóg Records Vol 4: Too Much Can Kill You will feature tracks by New Pope, Eoin Dolan, Emma Lohan, Steven Sharpe, Tracy Bruen, Dylan Murphy, Katie O'Connor, Kieran O'Brien, Field Trip, The Curly Organ, and Pa Reidy.

The album will be launched this evening at 8pm, with performances by the brilliant Galway indie-rock band Field Trip, whose music has shades of early Teenage Fanclub; blues/grunge guitarist and vocalist Dylan Murphy; and The Curly Organ, the solo project of My Fellow Sponges' Donal McConnon.

Citóg Records is a Galway based music collective, which organises events, promotes local artists, and release an annual compilation. See citogrecords.ie and citogrecords.bandcamp.com

Admission is free and the audience will get a free download code for the album.
