Get laughing with Anna Clifford and Brian Gallagher

Rising stars of Irish comedy to headline the next Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh

THOUGH IRISH born and bred, it was in Vancouver that Anna Clifford's comedy career began, when she won the One Hitter Quitter Comedy Showdown! It was only the start of an upward career curve.

Since moving to London, Anna, an actor/writer/comedian has been a Funny Women regional finalist 2017, Laughing Horse semi finalist 2018, and Leicester Square New Act quarter finalist 2017 and 2018. She has also appeared in RTE’s Finding Joy and Fair City, and BBC3's Quickies Sketch, Heartbreakers Pilot, and Titanic Blood and Steel.

Galway can see this rising comedy star when she plays the Comedy KARLnival at the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday July 16.

The show is a double headliner with Brian Gallagher. Clever, surreal, and irreverent, Gallagher was runner up in the 2017 Show Me The Funny; has contributed to the successful YouTube channel Facts; and played the Vodafone Comedy Carnival, Forbidden Fruit, and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Doors are at 8pm. The MC is Karl Spain. Tickets are €8 in advance from the Róisín Dubh; www.roisindubh.net; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; or €10 at the door.
