As part of their Galway Races celebrations, The Boat Inn, Oughterard will host a Ladies' Day event on Thursday, August 1 in support of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute and Oughterard AFC.
Starting at 1pm at the popular Co Galway venue, guests will be greeted on arrival with a canapes and prosecco reception, followed by a three-course lunch. Everyone attending will receive a goodie bag and a racecard.
This fun-filled day will include a competition for Best Dressed Lady and Best Hat Competition, as well as the most Glamorous Granny, with prizes collectively valued at more than €1,000. Judges for the event include Shona Lenehan of Shostyle blog, blogger Ciara Walsh, and make-up artist, Laurisa Kennedy MUA.
With live music till late, this is a day not to be missed in support of two great causes. The monies raised will help support the breast cancer research team at the Lambe Institute, University Hospital, Galway, and Oughterard AFC.
