It was agreed GAA president John Horan will announce an independent chairperson and committee members within the next two weeks, comprising some 10 representatives, including one from the CPA. Its first meeting will take place in early June, and the group will submit recommendations to Croke Park in October/November 2019. Clubs and counties will have time to review the proposal and a decision will be voted on at Congress in February 2020. If passed, the changes will take effect in 2021.
