JOHNNY DUHAN, one of Ireland's most respected songwriters, particularly for his song, 'The Voyage', plays the Town Hall Theatre this month as part of what could well be his final tour.
Johnny recently launched his autobiography The Voyage. Des Kenny, in a review for the Galway Advertiser, said: "Duhan’s prose is straightforward and honest, and his strong narrative bears strong witness to the less attractive elements of the professional singer-songwriter’s life in Ireland for the last 30/40 years."
Johnny plays the Town Hall on Wednesday May 8 at 8pm. The show will be based on some his most intimate songs and stories, dealing with family history and married life, as depicted in his book.
