FROM FRIDAY April 5, the Pálás Cinema will launch its new Silver Screen strand - screenings of new releases for senior film lovers, with tickets at a reduced price.
The opening screening will be The Sisters Brothers, a new western based on Patrick DeWitt's acclaimed novel, and starring Joaquin Phoenix and John C Reilly on April 5.
Tickets are €6 and include complimentary tea and coffee before the film. The screenings take place at 10.30am every Friday. Tickets are available from the Pálás on 091 - 394800.
