CareerClub launches nationwide offering support for senior cycle students and their parents/guardians

Are you a student starting senior cycle in September or currently in fifth or sixth year? Are you the parent/guardian of such a student? Either way, CareerClub is a club you simply must join.

After 15 years of assisting students and parents during the frequently stressful final years before the Leaving Cert, CareerClub's founders researched the most effective and valuable type of help required. As a result CareerClub was established — a support service which offers advice on everything students and their parents need to know at this time. This support is unlimited, available seven days a week, and covers a plethora of topics — from senior level subject choice, career investigations, CAO, and SUSI applications to assistance with individual study plans and exam anxiety.

Students really value having regular contact with a professional — whether that be to just help get their CAO list right, help write a personal statement, or to simply talk about their immediate stresses. In addition to keeping individual students on track, CareerClub also looks after their parents/guardians. Parents are enlightened on the often daunting volume of information needed during this time and benefit from advice on what they can do to help.

Information is available at the press of a button and specific questions are answered promptly throughout the duration of membership. So instead of paying for a once-off consultation, CareerClub members have unlimited access to assistance for a period of one to two years — right up to the Leaving Cert results and CAO offers season. Do not miss out on this highly cost effective solution to your or your son/daughter’s career guidance needs.

CareerClub is coming to Galway to talk about the service provided on Saturday March 9 at the Menlo Park Hotel. The team will also advise parents/guardians on practical things they can do to help the student through these two years. Admission is free but booking is advised as numbers fill up quickly.

“Your support has helped me enormously in getting me through these two difficult years with my son. I can’t thank you enough.” — Deirdre, Cork.
