Little John's Small Halls and Potholes in Clonbur

An evening of eccentric songs and strange stories

SMALL HOLES and Potholes, an evening of eccentric songs and strange stories, with the great Little John Nee, will take place tomorrow [Fraiday March 1] in the All Saints Heritage Center, Clonbur.

Little John’s shows combine lyrical comic storytelling with original music and songs played on a variety of intriguing instruments creating magical soundscapes. Small Halls and Potholes has been performed in Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Vienna.

Little John was elected to Aosdana in 2016. A book of his haiku, The Apocalypse Came On A Friday, was published the same year. His shows for theatre include The Derry Boat, Rural Electric, The Mental, Sparkplug, Radio Rosario, and most recently Tea Dance. An album of songs from his theatre shows, Songs From The Lough Swilly Delta, was recorded with the Caledonia Highly Strung Orchestra in 2014.
