THE NOVELIST Claire Hennessy, the short story writer Aisling Keogh, and the poet Pauline McNamee, will read at the next Over The Edge: Open Reading in the Galway City Library.
Claire Hennessy is the author of several young adult novels, most recently Nothing Tastes As Good and Like Other Girls, published by Hot Key Books. She co-edits the bi-annual BANSHEE literary journal.
Aisling Keogh is a psychotherapist whose short stories have been published in the Irish Independent, Crannóg, Wordlegs, Ropes, and A New Ulster. She was recently shortlisted for the Doolin Writers’ Weekend short story prize.
Pauline McNamee is a writer, teacher and writing workshop facilitator. Her poetry is published in the Bay Area Writing Project’s Digital Paper. She is completing her first novel and working on her first collection of poetry.
The reading is on Thursday February 28 at 6.30pm. There will be an open-mic after the featured readers. New readers are welcome. The MC will be Susan Millar DuMars. Admission is free.
