Totally Wired and Paul Marsh - Don't Give Up The Day Job

'In every pub, in every town, there is a nobody who has inflated notions and delusions of grandeur...'

THEY CALL themselves "Ireland's oldest and least successful boyband"; The Irish Times call them this nation's "answer to Flight Of The Conchords”; and their new show has the not at all self-deprecating title of Don't Give Up The Day Job.

Comedy duo and regular Galway visitors, Totally Wired, along with Ireland’s Funniest Joke 2018 winner, Paul Marsh, are coming to the upstairs bar of the Róisín Dubh to perform Don't Give Up The Day Job on Friday March 1 at 8.30pm.

In every pub, in every town, there is a nobody who has inflated notions and delusions of grandeur. What if two such people met in the same bar? The show is a mixture of stand-up comedy and theatre, where the audience is also a member of the cast.

Totally Wired have played Electric Picnic, Iveagh Gardens, Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and appeared on Republic Of Telly, The Savage Eye, and Xposé. Paul Marsh has won the Capital Comedy Club Comedy Competition and the Golden Toilet Duck Award. He has supported Karl Spain, PJ Gallagher, and Neil Delamere, and has played across Ireland and Britain.

Tickets are available from www.roisindubh.net; the Ticket Desk at OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and The Róisín Dubh. Totally Wired and Paul Marsh will also perform Don't Give Up The Day Job in The Dew Drop Inn on Thursday June 6.
