JIM ROONEY, the Grammy winning producer best known for his work with John Prine, Nanci Griffith, Iris DeMent, and Hal Ketchum, is coming back to Galway for his annual gig in the city.
Rooney, who is also a singer-songwriter, plays The Crane Bar, Sea Road, on Monday February 11 at 9pm. He will be accompanied on the night by harpist Kathleen Loughnane, poet Moya Cannon, musicians Arty McGlynn and Nollaig Casey, Mary Staunton, Mary Shannon, and others.
