An Taibhdhearc to host hit show Caith Amach É

CAITH AMACH É, the hit comedy based on the Leaving Cert Irish Oral Picture sequences, and based on the 2019 Leaving Cert, is coming to An Taibhdhearc.

Caith Amach É will be staged by High Rock Productions on Tuesday January 29, Wednesday 30, and Thursday 31. The play is a fast-paced, physical, comic sketch show covering each of the 20 picture sequences for the 2019 Leaving Cert.

The show has been seen by more than 45,000 students since 2011 and been acclaimed for inspiring students to enjoy learning Irish. It is suitable for students of all levels of Irish. Very limited number of places remain. Student tickets are €10 and teachers go free. Who though exam preparation would be such a laugh?

Concert of young Connemara musicians

On Sunday February 3, Ceoltóirí Óga Chois Fharraige hosts its first concert in An Taibhdhearc, entitled Anois Teacht an Earraigh. The concert is a reflection of the resurgence of interest in trad music among young people in Connemara. More than 60 young people will take part, and there will also be singers and dancers performing. Admission for children is free, while adults are €12.
