McInerneys SuperValu, Loughrea has just been announced as a finalist in the National SuperValu Store of the Year competition.
The store has been nominated in the Large Store category in a competition comprising 220 stores.
This is the 10th nomination for McInerneys and the ninth consecutive time the company has achieved finalist status, a Connacht record.
The store previously won the coveted award in 2011. This year’s winner will be announced in February at the National SuperValu conference in Killarney.
McInerneys is a fourth generation family business with roots in Loughrea dating back to 1891.
