Peach to DJ @ Electric

Rising star plays the newly renovated Rooftop at Electric this weekend

PEACH, THE London based Canadian DJ, who shot to prominence last year, is coming to Galway, to spin the decks at Electric, Abbeygate Street, in a night organised with Gash Collective.

Peach will play the Electric Garden & Theatre on Saturday January 19. Having initially gained recognition through her residency on the now-defunct Radar Radio and then on NTS, Peach won over electronic music fans with her poignant single ‘Silky’ released via Midland’s Intergraded label, and also with her fiery Boiler Room debut in Manchester. Since then she has been a regular on lineups all across Europe.

In her DJ sets, she displays a sense of comfort across genres, spanning light house and disco to more intense UK and techno sounds. Those skills have seen her share billings with HAAi, Hodge, Mumdance, Moxie, and Floating Points. She plays the newly renovated Rooftop at Electric alongside Bray's EMA, who has played across multiple venues in Berlin.

The great Padraic Disconaut, one of Ireland's most coveted house and disco selectors, will hold down the mainfloor, while Factory will host All City Records’ Lee Kelly as well as French DJ Endrift.

Doors are from 11pm. Tickets are available via Resident Advisor. For more information see ElectricGalway on Facebook.
