AN ART exhibition, featuring work by art, design, and ceramic students from Gort Further Education and Training Centre, East Galway Adult Literacy Centre, Loughrea, and St Dympna’s ADS, Portumna, opens today.
The exhibition will be held in The Stables, Coole Park, Gort, and will be officially opened at 12.30pm by Ronnie O'Gorman, chair of the the Galway Advertiser Newspapers Ltd. There will be a free guided tour at 1pm. it will be open to the public from 11am to 4pm.
“We are proud of how our learners have developed as designers and artists," said a spokesperson for the Galway and Roscommon Education Training Board. "The work on display will display the diverse range of skills, talents and techniques, not to mention hard work and dedication shown by the group."
