Galway theatre company Eva's Echo to stage Darren Donohue's Dayshift at the Town Hall

MR DAY takes up a new position within a vast, complex, organisation, but struggles to understand its inner workings, andis out of harmony with both his surroundings and the people he encounters.

This is Dayshift by Darren Donohue - a re-imagining of modern Ireland and the high cost of its value system - which will be staged by Eva's Echo Theatre Company to the Town Hall Theatre studio on Monday November 5 and Tuesday 6 at 8.30pm.

Darren Donohue is an award-winning Irish playwright and poet. His plays have been produced in Dublin, London, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Milan, Prague, Baltimore, Washington DC, and New York. Eva’s Echo is a Galway based theatre company founded by Rena Bryson and Hazel Doolan, producing new creative works examining modern Ireland and highlighting challenges in Irish culture today through theatre.
