Brown Thomas Goes Pink!

Brown Thomas, Galway will go ‘PINK’ on Wednesday, October 24th when they will host an exclusive in-store event in support of Galway based charity, the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event, which will run from 6.30pm-9.00pm and feature fashion and beauty masterclasses showcasing this season’s top trends from brands including; Victoria Beckham, Maxmara, Charlotte Tilbury and MAC. There will also be fantastic entertainment, delicious bubbles, canapés and fabulous prizes to be won including an exclusive Beauty Hamper to the value of €1,000, a personal shopping experience to the value of €300 and twelve makeovers to the value of €500.

In Ireland, 1 in 9 Irish women are affected by breast cancer and there are 3,000 cases diagnosed annually which is set to continue to increase. Breast cancer is more common in women over the age of 50, however, women (and men ) of any age can develop breast cancer. Speaking ahead of the event, General Manager of Brown Thomas, Galway, Marilyn Gallagher said: “Brown Thomas are delighted to support the National Breast Cancer Research Institute as it funds vital research that helps to ascertain the causes and factors that influence breast cancer and therefore help to develop effective screening, treatments and medication to combat it. We’re really looking forward to welcoming customers new and old on October 24th to support such a great cause.”

Tickets for this exclusive event are just €20 each and available from Brown Tomas, Galway. All proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
