Puppets and a case of writer's block

Diffused Theatre is currently staging The Writer’s Block Apartments: It’s a Working Title in NUI Galway

NEW GALWAY theatre company, Diffused Theatre, is currently staging its first summer show, The Writer’s Block Apartments: It’s a Working Title, in the O’Donoghue Theatre, NUI Galway.

Written by Alice Keane, this is a subversive, dark, comedy, which engages with themes of stagnation and artistic drought as Drew Donoghue, a writer who has not written a word in 57 months, wakes up to find herself in a strange, inter-dimensional reality, brought there by the wardens of the 'Writer's Block Apartments', so that they can fix her - and by the way, they are puppets.

The play is on this evening, tomorrow, and Saturday. Doors are at 7.45pm. It is suitable for ages 14+. Tickets are €10/6 and are available from the Socs Box, Árus na MacLeinn and via socsbox.nuigalway.ie
