Bubbles and Barks dog grooming academy is now enrolling

Do you want to work with dogs? Are you a creative, kind, person? Dog groomers have such a rewarding job. You can have that too.

Be active in creating the future you want, the first step is choosing the correct trainer. Learn from an experienced groomer who has been recognised for her ability.

Katie has been working as a groomer for more than 15 years. She has won awards for both her grooming skills and her business acumen. She has trained groomers who now work across the globe in the profession.

Course content includes: anatomy and physiology; animal welfare; understanding behaviour; basic first aid; breed specific training; kind, effective handling; dog grooming techniques and styles; business planning; GDPR compliance; bookkeeping; health and safety; customer care; and €800 worth of equipment is included so you will be good to go once finished.

The first course will be limited to three students giving you an amazing opportunity to learn in a small group. Katie will not be grooming while leading the class, ensuring you have her full attention. You will have the opportunity to groom up to 80 dogs during the course, and a range of styles and techniques will be covered, focusing on a quality finish and a happy dog and owner. Each successful student will receive a certificate of completion and will be welcome to contact Katie for advice or queries as long as they are grooming.

A taster day is available for a fee of €150 which will be deducted from the course fee if it is booked.

The fee of €6,250 must be paid in full before the course commences.
