The Clandestinos @ Monroe's

Popular local band announce August gig

GALWAY SKA/REGGAE band The Clandestinos return to Monroe's on Friday August 17 at 11pm, where they will play reggae and ska takes on classic songs, and some originals too.

The band formed four years ago and their music fuses classic Jamaican roots, reggae, and ska, the punk-reggae of 1980s London, and Latin tinged sounds influenced by Manu Chao and the Buena Vista Social Club. The seven piece band, which features guitars, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, and trombone, have played the Doolin Folk Festival, Sea Sessions, Electric Picnic, and Body & Soul.
