It has been a very exciting 2018 for the team at the four star Salthill Hotel. In February, the hotel launched its new management team of the aforementioned Mr Canavan; Caroline Spollen (sales and marketing manager ); Olivia Cummins (HR manager ); Jakub Srebrzynski (revenue manager ); Narendra Sharma (executive head chef ); Steph O’Toole (conference, meetings, and events co-ordinator ); Simon Darcy (bar manager ); and Ailish Flaherty (group digital marketing executive ). Combining this new dynamic group with the experienced existing management team has resulted in the Salthill Hotel producing one of the best management teams in Galway.

And with the foundations of a good leadership team laid, it was announced that the Byrne Hotel Group, whose other properties include Eyre Square Hotel and Merchant Bar, Victoria Hotel, and Albany House in Dublin, would be providing significant re-investment for Salthill Hotel to facilitate exciting new projects and take the hotel to the next level in terms of its customer service standards and amenities. Currently the investment will see the standards and facilities of the existing conference, meeting, and events rooms upgraded with a large investment planned on upgrading the AV in Salthill Hotel which will result in the hotel having the most up to date AV technology in Galway.
