Gardai in Moycullen are investigating an incident last weekend in which an attempt was made to set fire to a derelict house.
Intruders broke into the house at Kilagoola at approximately 6.30pm on Friday evening (June 8 )
Anyone who may have information on this is asked to contact Gardai in Moycullen at 091 555122.
Meanwhile on the following night (Saturday June 9 ) in Claregalway, a garage in Cregcarragh was broken into and a large amount of lead stolen.
Anybody who witnessed suspicious activity in the area on Saturday night or who may have information is asked to contact Garda Bernice Mullderrig at Oranmore Gardai at 091 388030.
